Accommodation

Accommodation is provided on three floors, which are accessible by stair lifts. There are 14 single bedrooms (8 en suite) and 1 double or shared room is also available. All rooms have heating which can be individually regulated, hot and cold water, TV point, and a nurse call bell. WIfi is available throughout the building. At Clayfield we have invested in both a sophisticated nurse call bell system and care recording system. The recording system has many useful functions including the Relatives gateway. This allows relatives with the necessary permissions, to monitor the care of their loved one, on line.

There are two sitting/dining rooms and a reading/quiet room with an extensive large print library. There are three bathrooms and 2 toilets in addition to the en suites. One of the bathrooms has a hydrotherapy bath with hoist. There is also a “wet room” i.e. large shower room that allows users to have an assisted shower.

There is a kitchen on the ground floor and a kitchenette on the second floor, this facilitates ease of food and drink service and ensures that residents receive a quality and efficient service whenever they request it. For the safety of residents these rooms will be locked if unsupervised.

There is seating in the enclosed gardens to the front and rear of the property.
